b.    Availability:  This FREE, public domain, interactive program will be available on the Military/Federal CDV GETN Convergent digital satellite networks ONLY.  No C/KU-Band Analog Available for this date.  Military/Federal GETN/Warrior digital satellite downlinks are found at USA and USAF installations and at over 270+ ANG & ARNG locations at JFHQs (State Capitols) and ANG/ARNG locations.  Other Federal satellite networks may also carry this program.  The program may also be available to a limited number of non-satellite capable military sites via VTC terrestrial relay.  Local site use coordination of satellite downlinks will be required.  An archived webcast version of this program will be available.  Contact Ed Kronholm at; 1-888-820-4898  if you have a question or problem locating a site.

c.    Program Overview:  This program will address the fact that communities and individuals react to the stress of terror, as they do to natural events.  The broadcast will discuss what public and private health professionals need to consider when dealing with the public’s emotional and psychological health in times of stress and emergency.

d.  Program Objectives:  At the conclusion of this program, the viewers will be able to:

-    Identify the three primary agencies/systems involved in protecting the public’s health before, during and after a terrorist event
-    List three examples of trauma related disorders
-    Describe at least three ways in which public health professionals can assist in   interventions following disasters

e.  Target Audience Statement:  National Guard CST Units, Federal, state, local and military emergency preparedness officials, EMS personnel, media representatives and others who are likely to interact around Bio-Terrorism issues.
