“Critical Resource Logistics & Distribution” 1000-1100 ET (Repeats from 28 Mar 07) - In the event of a natural or manmade disaster, critical resources will be necessary for preservation of life, safety, and security. Preparedness plans must include a way to identify, dispatch, mobilize, accurately track, and demobilize available human and material resources across all incident phases. We will explore Critical Resources Logistics and Distribution on this edition of Live Response.
“National Infrastructure Protection Plan” 1100-1200 ET (Repeats from 23 May 07) - The National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) provides a coordinated approach to protect our Nation’s critical infrastructure and key resources. National goals, requirements for distribution and funding of resources, and priorities are set by the NIPP that ensure that our government, economy, and public services continue in the event of a terrorist attack or other disaster. We will explore The National Infrastructure Protection Plan on this edition of Live Response.
“Restoration of Lifelines” 1230-1330 ET (Repeats from 27 Jun 07) - After a natural or manmade disaster, essential services may be lost. The most effective, efficient response depends heavily on Public Works. Live Response explores lifeline services, the role of Public Works, and how planning, training, integration, and interoperability with other agencies, leads to successful restoration.
