"Homeland Security National Training Programs"
Working with live agents, explosives and incendiaries are just some of the ways students receive training from the Homeland Security National Training Programs. Participants can expect a variety of classroom and hands on training that provides them with the chance to train in real world environments.
On the next Live Response we’ll look at some of the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Training and Exercise Integration programs and show how these courses support the DHS plan for improving the country’s terrorism preparedness. The courses to be reviewed include New Mexico Tech’s Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings, the SENTINEL Project, Cybersecurity: Prevention, Deterrence and Recovery, the SENTINEL Project, Cybersecurity: Incident Handling and Response, and Dugway Proving Ground, Advanced Chemical and Biological Integrated Response.
