Overview:
Convergent
Media Systems of Atlanta GA has a contractual agreement with The Army National
Guard (AAN) to install and maintain satellite services for their video network.
The
downlink sites consist of a TVRO
(television
receive only) Antenna
pointed
at Telstar 4, a headend
location
with
a SA PowerVu 9234 IRD and a SA PowerVu 9235 IRD, 27” monitor, VCR, surge
protector and an AT Products conferencing unit with 10 M31 Mics on a Bretford TV
Roll-About Cart. An IFL
(Intermediate Frequency Line) is
run from the LNB(Low Noise Blocker) at the antenna to the headend location.
Convergent
will issue all work requests. You
must contact the DTTP Warrior Satellite Operations Office (Call 877-820-0305)
BEFORE you relocate your dish or perform extensive maintenance on it.
Convergent Project Management in Atlanta must be notified 2 working days
in advance of all site work. Convergent is responsible for updating the Army
National Guard Network Manager.

· (1 Bretford Cart
· (1) Philips VCR – VR621CAT
· (1) Philips 27” TV – TS2746C
· (1) PowerMax 8 DBS 3 Surge Protector
· (1) TONER XPD-2P Power Divider· (1) AT Products Harvard Elite 2001 Phone Convener
· (10) AT Products M31 Microphones (some ARNG locations only have 3 M31 Microphones)
(Note: Package “B” ARNG Warrior sets at selected locations will only have 3 M31 Mikes)
