Army National Guard Warrior Satellite Training Checklist
Use this When Training your Replacement 

Television: 

-How to power on/off from front panel and remote
-How to change channels and volume using remote or from front panel buttons.
-Demonstrate how to change video sources using remote and on screen menus.
-Let POC know TV must be in the Aux/video source at all times Tech must set the TV monitor properly so that in the event of a power failure it will power up and go to the Aux/video default setting.   

AT Products Phone Convener (see also):

-Demonstrate how calls are made.
-Demonstrate that push-to-talk will enables TV mute function.  Please insure that when depressing mute button on last mic, audio from CNN is muted

Show POC how to get into the satellite mode.

VCR:

-How to power on/off with remote and front panel.
-How to adjust volume 
-Show POC that VCR is to be set to
a/v mode for the SA 9234 IRD and set to channel 3 for the SA 9235 IRD.

PowerVu Integrated Receiver Descrambler (IRD):

-Show how to power on/off using remote or front panel buttons (power should always be on). -Show method of adjusting volume using remote or front panel right/left arrow buttons. (Volume should always be set at the highest setting).
-Demonstrate channel changing functions using remote and front panel buttons and be sure to let them know what channel they will receive the home channel on (CNN). (Channel ONE)
-It is strongly suggested that you LABEL each remote for your 9234 and 9235 IRDs to keep them straight.
