b.  Sponsor’s Program Overview:  Members of the FBI’s Hazardous Materials Response Unit will discuss roles and responsibilities of first responders.  They will also cover the Threat Assessment Process, Response Capabilities, Challenges of Processing Crime Scenes Involving Hazardous Materials, and the associated Federal Statutes.

c.  Program Objectives:  This broadcast is to show First Responders and other officials how to assess threats, manage response capabilities, safeguard evidence and persons involved at the scene and discuss what laws are involved at the federal, state, and local levels.

d.  Target Audience Statement:  Local, State, Federal, Military officials and First Responders to WMD or Bioterrorism incidents.

k.  Availability:  This program will be available on the GETN/ Military/Federal Warrior digital satellite networks ONLY.  It will also be available on C/KU analog satellite downlinks on that date.  (NOTE:  The newer, smaller 18inch DBS satellite dishes CANNOT receive this programming.)  The program may also be available to a limited number of non-satellite capable sites via VTC terrestrial relay using the US Army TNET, US Navy CNET or Army National Guard DTTP Network.  (All VTC users must coordinate with their own videobridge operations centers for connectivity.)  Local site use coordination of satellite downlinks will be also be required.
