a. Sponsors: These program are sponsored by The Department of Justice(DOJ) Television Network and the Army National Guard (NGB-ART-D).
b. Availability: These FREE non-scrambled, public domain program will be on the Military/Federal GETN/Warrior satellite networks whose downlinks are found at USA and USAF installations and at over 200+ ANG locations at STARC HQs and ANG bases. (These programs have NO C or KU-Band analog satellite availability.) Limited videoconferencing connectivity for selected military sites may be available through special arrangement on the USA TNET, or Navy CNET videoconferencing networks. ARNG DTTP VTC connectivity may also be available through special arrangement with the DTTP VOC Operations Center. Local site use coordination of satellite downlinks will be required. An archived webcast will be available. Contact Ed Kronholm’s office at 877-820-0305 if you have a question or problem locating a site.
Will these programs be Video streamed: There are no plans for a webcast, live or archived, for any of these programs.
c. Target Audience Statement: The target audience will be any member of the federal government and military with an interest in Federal Government retirement programs.
d. Program Summaries: Understanding retirement benefits is important for each employee in order to plan for a secure future. This series of retirement seminars was recorded by the Justice Television Network for its staff, however much of the information will be of interest to other Civilian Federal Employees. Sherry Casas of the Graduate School, USDA, will present the programs, and will cover retirement eligibility, annuity computation, health and life insurance benefits, and the Thrift Savings Plan. Ms. Casas has presented retirement training on JTN for the past two years. The retirement plans covered include Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS), the Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS), and FERS Transferees (TransFERS).

Federal Employee Retirement System(TransFERS) will cover retirement eligibility,

Savings Plan. Viewers will learn how planning now will play a significant role
